The 2 mile walk will start in the northwest corner of the Valley River complex, turn on to the bike path, head north to a turn-around at the 1 mile mark and then return to the finish. Entry Fees: $20 (Adults 18 & over), $15 (17 & under AND 60 & Over), add $5 to all entry fees on race day. Kids 200m gobbler gallop free. Add $10 for long-sleeve tech shirt. Registration: Register in person at Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center) through Wednesday, November 26, at 6pm, or on race day from 7:30am to 8:45am. Additional $5 for Race Day Registration. IMPORTANT NOTE: Online registration will remain open until 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Participants who register online after 12pm noon on Tuesday, November 25, must bring a printed copy of their online registration confirmation to packet pickup.
Packet Pick-Up: Packets will be available on Wednesday, November 27, from 11am to 6pm, at FOOD For Lane County (770 Bailey Hill Road) or Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center) and on race day from 7am to 8:45am. NOTE: Registrants choosing to pick up packets on Wednesday, November 26, must select a location upon entering - either FOOD For Lane County, or Eugene Running Company.
Donations: Dry food and canned food products can be donated at FOOD For Lane County in advance, or on race day at the starting line.
Chip Timing: This event will be chip timed, with a chip start and finish, for both the run and walk. Timing chips will be included in race packets at packet pickup. Participants that pickup packets (with timing chips) and don't participate on race day are required to return their chip to the event organizers.
Awards: Special seasonal awards (garments, trophies and holiday food) will be presented to the top three overall and top one masters male and female finishers in the 4 mile run. The top three in each age group in the 4 mile run will receive distinctive seasonal awards. There are no awards for the 2 mile walk. All entrants will be eligible for random prize drawings. All participants in the 200m gobbler gallop kids fun run will receive a ribbon.
