Event Description: This 9th Annual trail running classic covers the entirety of the Ridgeline Trail in South Eugene, over the Memorial Day weekend.

Distances: 20K (12.4 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) and 20K Two-Person Relay.

Location: Ridgeline Trail - Blanton Heights Trailhead to Lane Community College - Eugene, Oregon.

Courses: The 20K and 10K courses will both incorporate the new Dillard Connector Trail to the Mt. Baldy Trailhead via the upper trail from the Fox Hollow lot. The 20K and 10K courses are approximately 85% trails and gravel/dirt roads, with approx. 1.25-mile on paved roads through the Spring Boulevard neighborhood. The scenic "Nature Trail" adjacent to LCC will again be incorporated during the last .55 mile section. The trails are hard packed dirt, mini gravel, with some rocks, roots, and a stream crossing. The 20K has a 459' net elevation drop from start to finish, while the 10K drops 341' from start to finish. The relay exchange point is at the Kiosk in the Fox Hollow trailhead lot. The 10K start location is a short distance down Christensen Rd., near the Fox Hollow lot. The 20K starts near the Blanton Road Trailhead. CLICK HERE for revised printable course map.

Directions: Take I-5 to 30th Avenue in Eugene. Turn west and go 1 mile to the entrance into Lane Community College and follow into the main parking lot.

Entry Limit: This event has an entry limit, based on shuttle and trail capacity and entries received within a time frame conducive to scheduling.

Awards: The award ceremony will be presented at the finish, periodically as runners finish. Custom wooden medallions will be presented in the 20K and 10K, to the top three overall male and female finishers. The top three in each age division will receive medals. The overall relay team champions will receive custom wooden medallions for each division. All participants are also eligible for random prize drawings.

Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Packet Pickup: Packets will be available on race day at the finish line at LCC, from 6:45am until the shuttles leave for each distance. Once shuttles leave for the starting line for that distance, packets not picked up at LCC will be taken to the starting line for the distance that a participant has registered for.

Clothing: Participants will be allowed to drop their clothing bags in a van at the start of each event. Please make sure names and bib numbers are clearly displayed on clothing bags - we are not responsible for lost items. The clothing van will load 20K participant bags at the 20K start, drive to the 10K start and pick up 10K and relay member bags, and then taken to the finish line at LCC. Extra clothing bags will be available at the packet pickup staging area at LCC.

Shuttles: There is no parking available at the starting lines of the 20K and 10K events. Participants will need to park at LCC and take a shuttle to their respective starting line. Shuttles for the 20K participants and the first member of the 20K relay teams will depart from LCC at 7:20am sharp. Shuttles for the 10K participants and the second member of the 20K relay teams will depart from LCC at 8:00am. Again - please do not plan on parking at the start of your event - there is no parking available and there will NOT be any shuttles running after your race has started to take you back after you finish. There will be one shuttle that will transport the first runner of relay teams, from the Fox Hollow trailhead back to LCC - this shuttle will leave the Fox Hollow trailhead at 9:20am.

20K Two-Person Relay: Form a team of any two individuals. Relay leg #1 will start at the Blanton Road trailhead at 8am (with the 20K solo runners). Relay member #2 will get the exchange at the Fox Hollow trailhead. The first leg of the relay is more challenging than the second. Team divisions are: male, female and coed. Team age categories are: 40 & under, 41-80, 81-120, 121 & over.  The 10K and second half of the 20K will again incorporate the Dillard Connector Trail to the Mt. Baldy Trailhead, instead of having to run along Dillard Rd. from the old course configuration prior to 2014.

Aid Stations: Water and light snacks will be available at the following mile marks: 10K (1.4m, 3m, 4.1m), 20K (1.8m, 3.9m, 5.1m, 6.2m, 7.4m, 9.2m and 10.3m). GU Brew and GU Energy Gel will also be provided at the Fox Hollow and Willamette stations.

Road Crossings: Most aid stations are at sections of the course where the trail either crosses a road or turns to follow a road for a short distance - please use caution on all paved surfaces, being aware of traffic. All 20K participants must display their bib numbers at the Fox Hollow trailhead - the half way point - before heading to Dillard Road, via the new connector trail to Mt. Baldy. The first leg of the 20K relay teams must display their bib number to the official at Fox Hollow before tagging off to the second member of the team at the Fox Hollow trailhead.
