The 10K and 5K run/walk for both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day start and finish adjacent to Valley River Inn, in the cul de sac next to the former McGrath's Fish House. All courses will follow the bike paths along the Willamette River once completing a short section through the VRC parking lot. The courses are flat, fast and scenic. The 5K will follow the same course as the 10K, until just after the 2-Mile mark. Both distances will remain on the Valley River Center side of the bridge the entire time, with two out and back sections for the 10K and one for the 5K. Both distances take runners over the Delta Hwy bike bridge first, then to the Owosso Bike Bridge past Marist High School for the 10K ONLY, while the 5K returns to finish after the out and back over Delta Hwy bridge.  Water station accessible on both courses.
